When you use LInIQ, we collect:

  • Account Information: email address, name, password (hashed)
  • Social Media Data: when you connect third-party accounts (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram), we receive and store access tokens, account IDs, page IDs, and public profile information (username, page name)
  • Content Data: posts, images, and content you create or schedule through the Service
  • Usage Data: analytics and engagement metrics from your connected social accounts

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service (content creation, publishing, analytics)
  • Authenticate and manage your social media connections
  • Publish content to your social accounts on your behalf
  • Generate AI-powered content suggestions based on your brand profile
  • Send important service notifications

3. Data from Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp)

When you connect via Facebook Login, we request the following permissions:

  • instagram_basic — to read your Instagram profile and display your account name
  • instagram_content_publish — to publish photos and carousels to your Instagram account
  • pages_manage_posts — to create posts on your Facebook Page
  • pages_read_engagement — to read engagement statistics for your posts
  • whatsapp_business_messaging — to send messages via your WhatsApp Business account
  • whatsapp_business_management — to manage your WhatsApp Business account settings

We access this data only when you explicitly authorize it through Facebook Login. You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting your account in Settings or through your Facebook Business Integrations settings.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Access tokens are stored in an encrypted database
  • All data transmission uses TLS/SSL encryption
  • We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data
  • Our servers are hosted on Render.com (backend) and Vercel (frontend) with enterprise-grade security
  • Database is hosted on Neon (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

  • With social media platforms (Meta, Telegram) to perform authorized actions on your behalf
  • With AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI) for content generation — only brand descriptions and content prompts are shared, never your access tokens or personal data
  • When required by law or legal process

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • We retain your data as long as your account is active
  • When you disconnect a social account, the associated tokens are immediately deactivated
  • When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days
  • You can request data deletion at any time by contacting us

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for social media integrations at any time
  • Export your data

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (JWT tokens stored in browser). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
